“Perdita – A Lost Child”, is not a real allegory. But it is about our relationship with the eternal. And THAT could only begin with the Son. The son of the High King, the young prince.
Many might ask – If the High King is so smart and so powerful, why did he even allow the prince to be kidnapped. Like God letting Jesus die. As in the Bible – there is a REASON. The reason is me. Or you. The reason given in Scripture is “In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting for God, for whom and through whom all things exist, to make the pioneer of their salvation perfect through suffering. ” Hebrews 2:10
But in our story – there is also a reason. (Sorry no spoiler here! but you can read it for yourself it is in the first chapter which is here – Free Chapter 1 - The Crime (60 downloads) )
But it begs the question, would he have for only one. How much are we loved? How far will he go to bring us home?
A couple of answers –
“It is rare indeed for anyone to die for a righteous man, though for a good man someone might possibly dare to die. But God proves His love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.…” Romans 5: 7-8
““What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the pasture and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he finds it, he joyfully puts it on his shoulders,…” Luke 15:4
So yes, it had to begin with King Caelestis – And the young prince.
